Think Machine defaults to 3D mode, but also offers a 2D mode for a more traditional mind mapping experience.
This can be a great way to reduce the dimensionality of your knowledge graph and focus on the connections between your ideas from a new perspective.
3D mode is enabled by default—to switch to 2D mode, clicking the 2D button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Controls for 2D mode are similar to 3D mode, you can pan and zoom using the mouse or trackpad, and click and drag to move nodes around. You can also use the arrow keys to navigate.
Tip: Shift can be held during most interactions to speed them up.
